| Unfortunatly stone shipments ended with the CSX takeover of Conrail in New York State and the siding remained unfinished. The operating plan would have called for the passenger train to take the siding, and then wait for the freight to travel south to clear the main. This saved the freight having to travel 9 miles to Snow Junction to clear the main. |
