| I didn't get a close up picture, but contractors have already replaced a rail in this section and have installed dozens of new spikes to make the track passable for work trains. Rumor has it the brush contractor the state hired several years ago to prepare for the track rehab did a lot of damage to the gauge because they used rubber tired vehicles instead of hi-rail equipped ones. |
