Description:  The Adirondack replacement is standing and the NYC era concrete post is laying on the ground. Interestingly enough there must have been a previous wood replacement as I have a photo of a wooden post at this location in the mid 90s before the current replacement was installed.

Forestport Station
Title:  Forestport Station
Description:  The station was built in 1892 and was the largest of this type on the Adirondack Division. Other survivors of this style (dubbed "Great Stationhouse" by author John Taibi) are Woodgate and Thendara, and a replica at Tupper Lake.
