Hanson Loading dock
Title:  Hanson Loading dock
Description:  Just north of MP 39 we reach the Hanson Loading dock, a "Modern Historic" structure built in the late 1990s and used only briefly. There were talks of using this location to haul ballast for the work trains that have run the last couple years, but the quarry here is currently moth balled.

Description:  An industrial spur once left the main line to the east here. Michael Kudish calls it Johnson Siding. The fill the track was built on is very clear when the foliage is down.

Description:  The bridge is a single span truss, similar in design to Kayuta, but with two massive stone block approaches. No pics of the bridge from the side today due to the vegetation and steepness of the banks.
